Librarian's Choice - Closed! Judging has begun!

And the contest is closed! We got some amazing entries in this time around! I hope to have the judging results back within a week at the latest. That will also give me some time to post a new exclusive back for winners to choose from, as well as letting out other prize donators figure some stuff out!

Also, just FYI - we seem to have lost 2 of our prize donators (and one entrant) into the Deviation in storage/Account on hiatus ether. If you know A-Wakefield/Mandies-stock in the RW, can you have them contact me to know if they will be back in time to be judged/donate as promised?

So it might not be common knowledge, but we of Hiddenyume-stock love books. Love them I tell you! No really, of the four main models on the account, one of us is a published author, two are aspiring authors, and one is totally a sexy librarian for her day job.  

We’re fans of everything from the classics of sci-fi like H.G. Wells and Mary Shelley to classical literature like The Iliad and The Odyssey to modern romances to dystopian young adult books to… well you get the picture. Books are love. It’s just that simple.

Considering that, we decided it’s time to have a literary themed contest!

Just in case you need ideas, some of our personal faves are the Harry Potter series, Shakespeare, Edgar Allen Poe, Anne Bishop’s Black Jewels universe, Jacqueline Carey’s Kushiel saga, Stephen King’s Dark Tower series, Tolkien’s collected works, C. S. Lewis and Narnia, and Susan Cooper’s Dark is Rising saga. Note – picking one of these for your entry won’t necessary earn you extra points, but you will get to see your stockers flailing like lunatics.

Rules:

1. Your entry MUST contain one of our model stock images as a CENTRAL figure in the entry. Note: any visual media is welcome. I.E. you may use our model stock as a reference. Your entry does NOT have to be a photomanip. Paintings/drawings/etc are also definitely welcome!
2. Your entry must have been inspired by a published book, play, or short story, and you must note which literary piece inspired you in the description. Seriously – we’d love to get some new ideas for our reading list! Please note: If your book has been made into a movie, please remember that you cannot use movie stills/screen caps from the movie in your entry – legitimate stocks only please!

3. Your entry MUST be new created for this contest.
4. You may enter up to 2 entries. (Only 1 entry can win!)
5. You must link back to this contest in the description of the entry.
6. You MUST notify us in a NOTE titled "Librarian’s Choice Contest entry."
7. You must properly credit any and all stock used in the description of your entry.
8. All our normal rules must be followed.
